It's Andy Harris's Default

In medicine, malpractice gets you sued and maybe your license yanked. In GOP/TeaParty politics, malpractice gets you a big fat check from the Koch brothers. I guess that's why Andy Harris made that profitable career switch.
There's nothing the Republican party hates more than a proven record of Democratic success. Maryland has just that - years of financial responsibility (God bless ya right back, Louis Goldstein!), crowned with the top rating, AAA, for Maryland's bonds. That what we've gotten from decades of responsible Democratic leadership. This is where malpractice Andy Harris comes in.

When Harris stands with his TeaParty gang to shut down the economy by defaulting on our nation's bills - bills we have already incurred - he's not just making a grossly dishonorable financial and political gesture, from which he thinks his wealth will protect him. He is cheering for a calamity which will throw millions of Marylanders out of work, an intentional, man-made disaster which will kill Maryland's AAA rating.  Because of Maryland's proximity to D.C., location on the east coast corridor, and the pool of educated quality workers in Maryland, our recovery and progress is integral with America. Flushing our bond rating for the sake of petulant Tea Partiers who are ignorant of the complex mechanisms of a modern economy is just crazy.

"Malpractice Andy" Harris and his GOP/TeaParty are playing chicken with a tidal wave of economic disaster. You can't outrun a tidal wave, not even in Andy's nice car.
